BilantRS: Designing a Multilingual Accounting Website and Booking Experience

Project scope and the real problem

BilantRS is a website and mobile-app project for an accounting and tax-services business. Visitors need to understand services, find trustworthy contact information and book an appointment without guessing whether the website or app is the correct place to start. For the development team, the difficult part is not a single booking form. It is keeping the public website, the booking records, the administration workflow and multiple languages consistent as the service evolves.

One content architecture across four languages

The project uses Italian, English, German and Arabic. A multilingual interface has to cover complete service explanations, form validation, booking confirmations, cancellation instructions, accessibility labels and navigation—not only headings. Arabic introduces right-to-left layout requirements. Names, email addresses, numbers and dates need predictable direction even inside Arabic sentences. Each language should be checked at a realistic mobile width, where long German labels and mixed Arabic/Latin text can otherwise break the layout.

Website and app bookings should share the same rules

A website reservation and an in-app reservation should ultimately represent the same kind of appointment record. Useful fields include an appointment identifier, selected service, local date and time, confirmation status and an origin such as web or app. Recording origin helps an administrator understand how an appointment was created without maintaining conflicting calendars. The website flow can use email-based identification and a booking code for changes, while the app can link reservations to an authenticated profile. Both interfaces still need common business rules for cancellations and changes.

A safer booking workflow

A simple confirmation page is not enough to prevent duplicate or conflicting bookings. A robust design checks slot availability again when the reservation is written, gives the user a clear success or failure state and avoids creating a second booking when a request is repeated. Time zones also matter: a displayed Italian appointment time should remain consistent across daylight-saving changes, admin calendars and email notifications. A cancellation should update the booking record and not merely hide it from a screen.

Clear service pages are part of usability

For a professional-services website, a useful service page answers what a service covers, who it is intended for, what information is needed to begin and how to ask for assistance. It should not imply a fixed price or guaranteed result unless the business actually offers that. A visible contact route, company identification and sensible privacy messaging help visitors judge whether the service is relevant before they share personal information.

Practical quality checklist

Useful checks include switching languages partway through a visit, booking from a phone, trying the same appointment twice, entering an invalid email, returning to an existing booking, testing a cancellation and reviewing the corresponding admin record. Keyboard navigation and clear focus states matter as much as attractive visuals. Client data should not be exposed in public pages or predictable URLs. The website and app should also explain errors in the selected language.

What this case study does and does not claim

This article describes the project's architecture and key engineering requirements, not a claim that every feature is already live or that every test has passed in production. The exact availability of appointment synchronization and admin features should be verified in the deployed versions. See the related project page: https://www.nourverse.net/bilantrs . The broader lesson is that multilingual content and appointment management are one connected user journey, not two unrelated features.
